Affordable Luxury for Him & Her: Timeless Wardrobe Staples from Quince

Looking for timeless, affordable wardrobe staples for both you and your guy? In this post, I’m sharing our favorite pieces from Quince’s spring collection—including cashmere sweaters, bump-friendly linen dresses, and elevated basics for everyday wear.

My husband, Aaron, recently tackled a long-overdue spring closet cleanout (read: we finally said goodbye to a few things he’s had since college 🙃). Afterward, his wardrobe was looking a little sparse, so we decided it was time to fill in some of the gaps with a few high-quality basics. Naturally, the first place I suggested we check out was Quince. If you’re not already familiar, Quince is one of my go-to brands for affordable luxury—think 100% Mongolian cashmere, European linen, and timeless silhouettes, all without the steep retail markup. It’s classic style you can feel good about. If you’re working on creating a classic style capsule wardrobe on a budget, definitely add Quince to your list of places to shop!

Quince was kind enough to send us over a few pieces from their spring collection, and I’m so excited to share them with you today! These are pieces that we will reach for over and over again—cozy cashmere sweaters, polished-yet-comfy pants, and bump-friendly dresses that work now and later.

For Him: Classic, Elevated, Everyday

One of the first pieces we picked out was this fisherman-style cashmere quarter-zip. It’s somehow both comfortable and polished—something he can wear out to dinner or toss on for weekend errands. We paired it with their Ultra-Stretch 24/7 Smart Chino, which have the look of chinos but feel like upgraded sweats. According to Aaron, they fit true-to-size. They also come in a variety of colors, I think we will get the khaki next!

And because I couldn’t resist a good layering moment, we added a crisp white Oxford shirt underneath. Every year for his birthday or Christmas, Aaron asks for Ralph Lauren Oxfords. They’re high-quality and incredibly comfortable, but a little pricy. Quince’s organic Oxford shirt have the same look, quality, and feel and is a quarter of the price! It’s a no-brainer.

This whole look is the kind of classic combo that makes him look effortlessly put-together (with minimal effort—his favorite kind).

Classic Wardrobe Staples for Her

As someone who’s currently 29 weeks pregnant, I’ve been leaning hard into pieces that feel good, look polished, and most importantly, aren’t maternity-specific. I want items that work for me now and will still feel just as wearable once baby arrives.

First up: this cashmere boyfriend cardigan in a soft ivory shade. It’s made from 100% Mongolian cashmere (truly the softest thing I own right now) and long enough to layer over leggings, jeans, or dresses—even with a growing bump. It’s one of those forever pieces that elevates any outfit without trying too hard.

I also picked out two of their bump-friendly dresses—both made from European linen, and both so easy to style for spring. The smocked black dress actually is maternity, but doesn’t feel like maternity. It’s light, breathable, and effortlessly classic. And the chambray blue tiered dress has this beautiful shape that’s feminine without being fussy. I’ve been pairing them with neutral sandals, a woven tote, and of course, my cashmere cardigan tossed over the shoulders for an extra layer.

This is the kind of affordable luxury that actually lives up to its name. Soft fabrics, timeless silhouettes, and prices that make you do a double-take (in the best way).

So, if you’ve been thinking about trying Quince, consider this your sign!
