I stepped into my local Target yesterday and noticed all the back-to-school displays. And to be honest, I’m not mad about it! While I love summer, I really love fall! Especially the fall wardrobe. Que all the browns, camels, plaids, leather, ahhhh! It makes me so excited! So to kick off a blog series on classic-style fall finds, I’m starting off with some classic style fall shoes!
For starters…
At a bare minimum, every classic style wardrobe needs a good pair of white sneakers and leather loafers. They are both easy to pair with tons of outfits, are comfortable, and work in multiple seasons (I wear my white sneakers year-round!).
So if you’re just starting out building your classic style wardrobe, I think those two are a must-have for shoes. But to expand beyond that, here are some other fall shoes that are timeless and classic (in no particular order!).
Tall Riding Boot
I love a classic tall riding boot for fall. These have always been in style, inspired by timeless British equestrian style. They rose in popularity at the beginning of the Pinterest era and became super trendy. While they might not be “trendy” right now, they are still definitely timeless and a good fit into your classic style fall wardrobe.
Horsebit Leather Mule
Next up is the classic horsebit-style leather mule. An instant classic, these elevate any outfit and make it look effortlessly chic. They pair well with jeans, a white button-up, and a trench coat!
The Bean Boot
I know it’s officially fall when I pull out my classic L.L. Bean Boots! These boots are meant for more outdoor activities. I like to wear them to the orchard, fall hayrides, bonfires, etc. The perfect (and warm) boot for country fall fun. I also wear mine a lot in the winter!
Classic Color Block Heels
These are one of my favorite pairs of shoes in my wardrobe. They are perfect for the office, date night, or to elevate a simple jeans and white shirt look!
Leather Booties and Chelsea Boots
When the late fall hits and the temperatures start to dip, I start reaching for my booties and Chelsea boots. These are stylish but also functional!
