I view navy as a neutral color. In my wardrobe, it’s right up there with white, khaki, black and grey. It goes with e v e r y t h i n g. Well, pretty much everything.
And I love the navy and white combo. It’s a preppy gals stable combo in my opinion. This look is simple, yet stands out. A classic summer look, perfect for a date night out, a walk on the beach or even, a causal Friday-work look.
The top is old J.Crew…maybe 5 years ago. But they seem to have similar ones every season. This season, they have their silky scallop tank, which I think is soooo cute.
I think white jeans are always a good look. In the summer. Be aware of white jeans because they seem to show every line and curve. I find myself always having to get up a size in white jeans, I hate skin tight pants and it seems like white jeans are always tighter than regular jeans?? Maybe that’s just me?
These white jeans are Ralph Lauren, also a few years old, but these are similar.
