In today’s post, I’m sharing all about our experience with Lovevery. Lovevery is a children’s educational toy company that makes research-backed play-kits for children based on their age and developmental stage. It’s a subscription plan and they send you a new play-kit when your child hits a new developmental milestone based on their age.
I have always loved the idea of Lovevery’s model so you can imagine how excited I was when they reached out and wanted to send a play-kit for Teddy! Since Teddy just turned two, we chose the Helper Kit, which is designed specifically for toddlers aged 25, 26, and 27 months. This particular play-kit is designed to respond to your two-year-old’s natural curiosity with Montessori-practical life activities and tools.
The Helper Kit & What’s Included
This kit included:
- Drop & Match Dot Catcher – This has really helped Teddy with learning colors! You can line up colors vertically, horizontally, or any other way.
- Super Sustainable Sink With Bio-Based Cups & Plates – This is probably Teddy’s favorite thing in this play-kit. He LOVES water and if he had his way, he would be at the sink all day long. That’s obviously not possible, but with this play sink, you can run the water for HOURS. It’s battery operated and recycles the water so you’re not wasting water. Pure genius!
- Anywhere Art Kit With Washable Tempera Paintsticks – Teddy has really loved coloring and drawing likely so this mess-free art kit is awesome!
- Double-Sided Sunny Day Puzzle – A fun and creative puzzle.
- Felt Flowers in a Row – Teddy loves to line up these felt flowers and bring me little bouquets!
- Lovevery also provides “Let’s Map It Out” Routine cards to help your child learn daily routines, like bedtime, more easily. They also provide a Play Guide that gives expert tips, development information, and at-home activities for toddlers at this stage.
A Final Word
All in all, our experience with Lovevery was a positive one. Teddy absolutely loves the play-kit and it’s been great for his independent play and development. He has played with the items in this kit for 30+ minutes at a time (sometimes longer!) and if you’re a toddler mom then you know how great that is! This play-kit has also given me huge peace of mind knowing that Teddy is playing and using toys that are research-backed for helping his development and learning. My only regret is not getting these sooner!
I highly recommend Lovevery! We will definitely be getting more of these play-kits. Lovevery offers these kits for newborns to three-year-olds. And they would make great gifts, too!
