I can’t believe it’s been almost six months since we first moved into our new house! It’s taken us a while, but it’s finally started to feel like home for both of us! I’ve taken my time with how I have wanted to decorate our home. I love the traditional style, mixed in with some preppy/nautical pieces. Before this, Aaron and I lived in a one-bedroom basement apartment in the Pittsburgh area. Our apartment was so tiny but we did our best to make it feel homey.
Our new house is by no means “big” but for us, compared to that tiny apartment, it’s massive! I didn’t realize how much space we would actually have to fill. Aaron and I have both been working from home for the past three weeks due to COVID-19. It’s given us plenty of time to do some house projects and tie up some loose ends.
I thought I would share with you all the mood board I created for inspiration for our living room. We already have a few of these pieces or similar ones, but this is a guide/inspiration as we continue to decorate our home. Enjoy!!
