What I’m Wearing – Week of 6.24.24
Happy Monday, friends! I think we finally survived last week’s heat wave. I ended up having to do a last-minute Target pick-up for a little splash pad for the kids to use in the backyard and let me tell you, it was a HIT. Even I used it to cool off! Best $20 I’ve ever spent. Over on Instagram, I’ve been trying to better share my everyday outfits on stories and what I’m wearing. You all seem to enjoy it, so I thought it would be fun to make this a weekly blog series! This way, if you happen to miss my daily outfit shares (or if I forget to share lol) on Instagram stories, you can find them all in one place here on the blog. So here is what I’ve been wearing lately!
I cannot rave enough about these white jeans! They have been a summer wardrobe essential for me and I wear them weekly. This look was from a fun family dinner at my parents! I also have been living in this French blue linen top. Amazing quality at an amazing price! I’ve gotten so much wear out of it so far this summer. And of course, my tried-and-true Jack Rodger sandals. These are my everyday, go-to summer shoes. Next to these slides, I wear my Jacks weekly!
These white-tailored shorts have been a favorite this summer! They’re really comfortable and have a little bit of stretch, which I always appreciate. To take this look up a notch, I styled it with this reversible horse-bit belt. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve worn this belt. And it was less than $20! It’s a huge part of my fall outfits, but I’ve worn it a lot this summer, too! I don’t wear this striped top often, it’s a boyfriend fit, which is not my favorite. It’s roomy, which is nice, but I don’t love the boxy fit on me but it works! Will link a few other options as well!
Oh look, it’s the French blue top again! Told you I’ve gotten good use out of this summer. 🙂 These linen pants are also a favorite of mine too. I wish they were a tad bit longer (I’m 5’10) but they’re overwise great! Linen is great because it’s comfortable–I literally feel like I’m wearing pajamas lol–but it’s still so stylish! Perfect for the stay-at-home mom life! I draped my favorite lady jacket over my shoulders to elevate this look a little bit more.
For church, I wore this beautiful (and subtly patriotic) dress. It’s from my recent collaboration with Draper James. It’s so comfortable and I really love the ric-rac detail. So fun! Would make a great Fourth of July party dress!
These denim shorts have been on heavy rotation for me this summer. I have two similar pairs — one from J.Crew and one from J.Crew Factory and I love them both. They’re a great length, especially if you’re on the taller side like me! I paired with my favorite white button-up!
